摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a valve timing control device for an internal combustion engine capable of reducing the overall device length dimension in an axial direction even when a coil capacity is increased by increasing the winding number of a coil. <P>SOLUTION: In an electric motor 12, a housing 5 houses therein a core rotor 17 and an electromagnetic coil 18, a commutator 21 is provided at a motor shaft 13 and electrically connected to the electromagnetic coil, first and second brushes 25a, 25b are provided contactably with the commutator, one coil wire 18a of the electromagnetic coil is wound wide in a radial direction, and the other coil wire 18b is accommodated in an annular recess 5d of a partition wall 5b from the axial direction.
