<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain high general versatility while preventing vehicle parts and vehicle accessories from being stolen without placing a burden on a network using an on-vehicle LAN communication line. <P>SOLUTION: A vehicle anti-theft device includes: a radio communication unit 11 mounted to a monitoring target object such as vehicle parts and vehicle equipment, for transmitting a terminal ID of a self-device by means of a radio communication whose communication area is limited to a predetermined area, and also for receiving terminal IDs of other devices that are transmitted by the other devices by means of the radio communication; and a control unit 14 that detects the number of the other devices situated communicable by means of the radio communication based on the terminal IDs of the other devices received by the radio communication unit 11, and also determines that a theft of the monitoring target object occurs when the detected number of the other devices decreases. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
