<p>The detector has means for temperature correction for the current injected into the probe (10). The temperature correction means includes a resistance having a coefficient which a function of the temperature comparable to the probe and via which the current is injected into the probe. The temperature corrector also measures the voltage at the probes terminals so as to regulate the injected current to give constant power. The temperature corrector is designed to correct and calculate the minimum and maximum values of temperature. Independent Claims are included for the formula used for temperature correction. Liquid level sensor which includes: (a) a resistive probe (10) designed to be partially immersed in the liquid; an electrical supply (20) capable of applying a controlled current to the probe; a comparator (32) designed to compare the output value with respect to a pre-defined scale between known minimum and maximum values.</p> |
