<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power receiving unit having a power receiving coil and a battery, which can charge the battery efficiently without being affected by a posture of the power receiving unit with respect to a power feeding coil. <P>SOLUTION: A power receiving unit (10) includes a tube-shaped power receiving coil (12) configured such that a current flows therein by magnetic flux generated by energization of a power feeding coil (21), a battery (4) configured to be charged by the current flowing in the power receiving coil (12), and a housing (17) configured to be able to store the power receiving coil (12) and the battery (4).
