The present invention provides a rotary ignition switch unit which comprises: a housing; a substrate arranged on the housing; a rotary block rotationally arranged in the housing; an ignition key plunger unit whereof at least a portion is arranged to be driven to a longitudinal direction by penetrating the housing and the rotary block, which is driven to a longitudinal direction by a key for a vehicle inserted through the rotary block, and which is rotated with the rotary block on an axis; an ignition switch unit driven in accordance with the rotation of the rotary block and performing switching operation which includes the starting of a vehicle; and a rotary locking unit arranged in the housing and the rotary block and limiting repeated starting after the starting of a vehicle through a starting key for a vehicle.
