PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anticancer agent which has no toxicity to normal cells, and further, has a high cytostatic effect to cancer cells by combining a plurality of withanolide compounds in a specified ratio.SOLUTION: The (WiNA-21) anticancer agent contains, in withanolide compounds, withanone and withaferin A at a proportion of 2:1 (weight ratio) as active ingredients. WiNA-21 and WiNA-201 have no cytotoxicity to normal cells, and further, can exhibit an epoch-making effect that cytostatic capacity to cancer cells is powerful. |
