The present invention provides a cable type secondary battery which comprises: an internal electrode; a separation layer formed as enclosing the outer surface of the internal electrode, and preventing a short-circuit of the electrode; and a sheet type external electrode formed as wound in a spiral shape, and enclosing the separation layer or the internal electrode.
