<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance color reproducibility of a color image even when the color information is generated by subtracting the signals obtained by an imaging means through a color filter, consisting of a plurality of types of filters having different wavelength bands of the light that passes through, in combination. <P>SOLUTION: An imaging device 12 outputs an image signal corresponding to the light that passed through a color filter 12a where a W filter, an R+IR filter, a Ye+IR filter, and an IR filter are arranged in Bayer array. A color information generation unit 20 calculates the W value, R+IR value, Ye+IR value and IR value of each pixel, and generates the R value, G value, and B value by subtracting the respective values in combination.
