<p>A carton for shipping and/or storing cut paper 50 has a receptacle 11 and a lid 12. The receptacle has four side walls 15-18 each folded up from base wall 14, the lid has a top wall 20a with a pivotally mounted door 24 and downwardly extending flanges 21-23 on three sides to engage with the non pivoting walls of the receptacle. One side wall 18 is unattached to adjacent side walls and pivotal about its connection to the base wall, it has tuck in flaps 29, 30 overlapping with adjacent side walls to slide along them during pivoting. A lifting handle is provided in the lid, ideally by a flexible strap passing through an aperture, or by adhesive. The door 24 can engage with the pivoting side wall via locking tabs 15a, 16a, 46a, 46b on the side walls engaging with slots 33 in the door; or glue strip 25 detachable via tear strip.</p> |
