PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent light leakage and reduce the area of a non-display area while preventing damage to a polarizing plate.SOLUTION: A liquid crystal display device comprises a liquid crystal display panel having a polarizing plate stuck to its surface, a display area for carrying out display, a non-display area arranged around the display area, and a frame-shaped bezel arranged in the non-display area. The bezel comprises a front plate part arranged in the front face side of the liquid crystal display panel and side plate parts arranged in the side face sides of the liquid crystal display panel. The front plate part of the bezel has bent parts formed by hemming bending at the edges of the display area. The bent parts are in contact with a surface of the polarizing plate. |
