<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for improving power conversion efficiency without obstructing mechanical vibration of a piezoelectric body.SOLUTION: A piezoelectric transformer 1 comprises: a flat plate-like piezoelectric ceramic 2; and a case body 4. The piezoelectric ceramic 2 has a primary side electrode 2a and a secondary side electrode 2b formed on outer surfaces paired in a thickness direction out of its peripheral surfaces. The case body 4 is formed in a box shape having an opening and houses the piezoelectric ceramic 2 therein. The case body 4 is provided with terminals 6-12 that are electrically connected corresponding to the primary side electrode 2a and the secondary side electrode 2b. Each of the electrodes and the terminals 6-12 are connected to each other by lead wires 22-28. The piezoelectric ceramic 2 is supported by the lead wires 22-28 with its peripheral surfaces separated from an inner surface of the case body 4.</p> |
