<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid jet head and a liquid jet apparatus which can reduce material costs and assembly costs by reducing the number of parts, can be made compact and can suppress liquid leakage. <P>SOLUTION: A back pressure control unit is equipped with a cover and a channel member which can be divided in the outer periphery. The cover includes a base part and a cover part 32, fixing the base part and the cover part 32 while bringing them in contact with each other on the outer peripheral side. A groove-like snaky passage opened to the cover part 32 side, a connection port connected with a supply pipe from the outside, and a liquid channel for supplying a liquid to a head body are formed in the channel member. A first seal part 34 which is prepared for sealing a holding part in a region that comes in contact with the base part, a second seal part 35 which seals an opening of the cover part 32 side of the snaky passage, a third seal part 36 which seals a gap between the circumference of the connection port and the cover part 32 are arranged in the cover part 32.
