The device (1) has input unit (2) that generates input signal (31) dependent on position value of movement apparatus (10). An electrical control unit (3) controls an output signal (32) generated with movement of movement apparatus based on generated input signal. The input unit has input region that is provided with different input zones. The electrical control unit is adapted to output the signal according to control rule (33,34) depending on the input signal when movement apparatus is arranged in input region. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) a micromanipulator; (2) a data carrier; and (3) a method for creation of output signal for controlling movement apparatus of micromanipulator.
