摘要 The present invention relates to a standalone photovoltaic system and a control method for the standalone photovoltaic system which has a solar cell unit generating electric energy from solar energy, and a storage battery, to which the generated electric energy is stored. The photovoltaic system comprises: a weather data collecting unit which collects and provides weather data from an area where the solar cell unit is installed for a certain period of time; a charging and discharging control unit which measures the state of charge (SOC) of the storage battery, transmits the SOC via a communication unit, and controls charging and discharging of the storage battery according to the calibrated SOC that is received via the communications unit; and a computation unit which receives the SOC of the storage battery from the charging and discharging control unit, calculates the daily usable amount of the storage battery with the SOC of the storage battery and the weather data collected by the weather data collecting unit, displays the daily usable amount for users, and provides the calibrated SOC to the charging and discharging control unit. The present invention displays to users amount of usable electric energy that can be provided by the standalone photovoltaic system based on the SOC of the storage battery and the weather data and notifies users when the storage battery needs to be replaced due to degradation, thus providing convenience and enhancing effectiveness when using a standalone photovoltaic system.
