<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to specify an individual of already consumed merchandise even when it is not immediately after purchase, by printing a number for identifying the individual on a receipt, in a receipt generation method and a POS device. <P>SOLUTION: The receipt generation method includes the steps of: receiving individual identification information for uniquely specifying the individual of a material for each of a plurality of materials configuring the merchandise; generating a trace code for uniquely specifying the merchandise; and recording the trace code and the individual identification information for uniquely specifying the individual of the plurality of materials configuring the merchandise specified by the trace code in a traceability information database in association. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
