<p>An object recognition system of a vehicle includes detecting means for detecting an object that is present around the vehicle, and enlarging means for enlarging the size of the object detected by the detecting means and recognizing the enlarged object, wherein a direction of enlargement of the object is determined according to a basis other than the object. When an object that is present around the vehicle is detected, the enlarging means enlarges the size of the object in a direction parallel to an indicator indicative of a lane boundary.</p> |
