<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cancel a lag between the progress of a progress bar indicating a progress of work during validation execution and the user's sensitive passage of time and to more accurately notify a user of the remaining time of a check. <P>SOLUTION: If check items of validation and measurement conditions are equal to that of the last validation (S1:Yes), an actual time measured during the last validation execution is set to the required time for each check item (S3) but if not, the required time for each check item is computed from basic time information and measurement conditions (S2). The required time for all designated check items is computed and this is displayed as a remaining time (S5). When the check is started (S6), with the required time for each check item determined in S2 or S3 and the entire required time determined in S5 as criteria, a progress bar for whole items and each item is advanced with the passage of time, and the remaining time for whole items and each item is counted down.
