<p>A gas turbine engine (10) comprising a nacelle (30) and a breather duct (38). The breather duct (38) provides communication between a component of the engine (10) within the nacelle (30) and the exterior of the nacelle (30) and opens at an exhaust port on the external surface (40) of the nacelle (30). There is at least one clean air outlet (46) bounding the exhaust port and arranged to expel, in use, a vortical flow of clean air to form an aerodynamic barrier between the external surface (40) of the nacelle and a flow of breather air expelled from the exhaust port.</p> |
