<p>Recently, silica is often blended in energy-saving tires. Since a reaction between silica and a silane coupling agent is slow, kneading is performed in multiple stages and so on. In order to simplify the kneading step, provided are a rubber composition and a filler for use in rubber, both of which have excellent workability and dynamic characteristics. More specifically, provided are a filler composition containing a silica-based filler, a silane coupling agent, and a hydroxy acid and/or a hydroxy acid salt; a filler obtained by reacting the filler composition; a rubber composition containing the filler; a crosslinked product of the rubber composition; a composition containing a diene-based rubber, silica, a silane coupling agent, and a hydroxy acid and/or a hydroxy acid salt; and a crosslinked product of the composition.</p> |
