<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for preparing a flat and soft application body that is desired for an applicator for cosmetic use, such as an eye liner and an eyebrow, to ensure uniform quality, in an industrially advantageous manner. <P>SOLUTION: After being made to respond to a cross-sectional shape of an end product and shaped by a guide having an expanded shaped hole, a bundle of nylon fibers is hot compressed with a pipe-like deformed die with the cross-sectional hole into a fiber convergence body with a desired cross section. The obtained fiber convergence body is bonded and fastened by being impregnated with synthetic resin, thus a material for the applicator being made. The material for the applicator is cut into a desired length to obtain the applicator, which is used for an application portion or a writing portion of the application implement. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
