The present invention relates to a method for processing an image and an apparatus therefor, and more particularly, to a method for processing an image and an apparatus therefor, wherein high pixel images can be selectively processed according to a user input without using an additional lens or a subsidiary device. To this end, the method for processing an image of the present invention according to an embodiment, comprises the steps of: storing an original image inputted from a camera in a first storage area; performing a correction processn on an image of a first area of the original image, and storing the same together with a first location information in a second storage area; performing a correction processing on an image of a second area of the original text, and storing the same together with a second location information in a third storage area; after a predetermined amount of time elapses, reading the original image from the first storage area without a user input and displaying the same; in response to a user input, reading images from the second storage area and the third storage area, and synthesizing images; and displaying the synthesized images. |
