<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a floating conveyance device for a glass material for molding, which can reliably prevent leakage of gas for flotation when the glass material for molding is softened by heating, and to provide a method for manufacturing a glass optical element with high production efficiency by using such a device. <P>SOLUTION: The floating conveyance device includes: a floating plate 2 (20, 21) having floating divided plate bodies 2a (20a, 21a), 2b (20b, 21b); and a support arm 3 internally having a gas supply channel 35 for supplying gas for flotation to the floating plate 2 (20, 21) and having divided arm bodies 3a, 3b which attachably and detachably support the pair of floating divided plate bodies 2a (20a, 21a), 2b (20b, 21b), respectively; wherein the floating divided plate bodies 20a, 21a are fixed to the divided arm bodies 3a, 3b, and the floating divided plate bodies 20b, 21b are slidably attached to the divided arm bodies 3b, 3a while being biased toward the floating divided plate bodies 20a, 21a by biasing members 6. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
