<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf club facilitating replacement of a shaft, adjusting characteristics such as a lie angle, a slice angle or progression, and changing the insertion depth of a shaft case into a hosel column, and to provide a method for adjusting the characteristics of the same. <P>SOLUTION: The golf club is formed by mounting the shaft 4 on the hosel column 3 of a head 1 via the shaft case 5 and spline rings 8 and 20. The shaft case 5 is fixed to the tip of the shaft 4 using an adhesive. The spline ring 8 is inserted into the hosel column 3 and fixed thereto by welding. The spline ring 20 is mounted on the tip of the shaft case 5 and inserted in the hosel column 3, and a bolt 7 is screwed into the shaft case 5 to fix the shaft case 5. Splines of the spline rings 8 and 20 are engaged with each other, and splines of the spline ring 20 and the shaft case 5 are engaged with each other. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
