<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent that traffic flow is disturbed by slowdown support processing of a support vehicle based on information on traffic flow forward in a travelling direction. <P>SOLUTION: A vehicle support device comprises: a look-ahead Eco driving support part 43 to perform a look-ahead Eco driving support processing to induce early accelerator off in driver based on information on traffic flow forward in a travelling direction; and a support inhibition part 44 to determine whether traffic flow may be disturbed if the look-ahead Eco driving support processing is carried out based on information on traffic flow acquired by an information on traffic flow acquisition part 21, travel information of surrounding vehicles acquired by a surrounding vehicles information acquisition part 22 and travel information of a support vehicle acquired by a support vehicle information acquisition part 30, and to inhibit the look-ahead Eco driving support processing by the look-ahead Eco driving support part 43 when it is determined that execution of the look-ahead Eco driving support processing may disturb traffic flow. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
