<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ceramic joined body which has a high joining strength, which does not retain a metal that causes the lowering of strength under extreme environment such as high temperature/corrosive environment and the like and which can be manufactured inexpensively with a low treatment temperature, and to provide a manufacturing method thereof. <P>SOLUTION: The ceramic joined body 1 is prepared by joining a plurality of ceramic sintered compacts 2. At the bonding surface of each of the ceramic sintered compacts 2, a ceramic film 3 which contains at least silicon and has a different composition and a different texture structure from each of the ceramic sintered compacts 2 is formed.
