摘要 <p>A lubricating oil concentrate containing at least 25% of a ureido compound having the general formula <FORM:0914769/III/1> wherein R and R11 are substituted or unsubstituted dehydroabietyl, dihydroabietyl or tetrahydroabietyl radicals and R1 is a substituted or unsubstituted arylene or C1-C30 alkylene radical, is prepared by (1) forming separate solutions of stoichiometric proportions of an appropriate abietylamine compound in a lubricating oil and of an aryl or alkyl diisocyanate in a lubricating oil, (2) rapidly mixing together equal proportions of the two oil solutions for a time sufficient to initiate reaction between the amine and the diisocyanate, but insufficient to cause precipitation of any reaction product, (3) spraying, in the form of droplets, the admixed oil solutions into the top of a spray tower before precipitation of the reaction product occurs, (4) permitting the droplets to descend in the spray tower for a time sufficient for the droplets to form a solid granular precipitate and (5) collecting the solid granular precipitate. The lubricating oils used in forming the solutions mentioned in step (1) may be petroleum lubricating oils, silicone polymer oils, synthetic hydrocarbon oils or other synthetic lubricating oils, such as polyalkylene glycols or their derivatives, high molecular weight esters of dicarboxylic acids, or polyfluoro derivatives of organic compounds such as the trifluorovinyl chloride polymers known under the name "Fluorolube" and the trifluorochloroethylene polymers known under the name "Kel-F-40". Substituents, which the radicals R, R1 and R11 in the above formula may carry, include alkyl, alkoxy, cyano, aryl, hydroxy, carboxy and nitro groups and halogen atoms. The lubricating oil concentrate obtained may be blended with further lubricating oil to produce lubricating grease compositions. In an example, the solutions formed in step (1) are mineral oil solutions of bitolylene diisocyanate and of the mixture of dehydroabietylamine, dihydroabietylamine and tetrahydroabietylamine known under the name "Rosin Amine D".
