An enclosure 1 suitable for a tablet computer that comprises a base board 2; a collapsible canopy 5 including a top panel 4 and side panels 6; a hinge mechanism (Fig 4, 32) connected between the base 2 and the cover 5 and a support panel 26 connected to the top panel 4 such that as the canopy 5 opens, a part of the support panel 26 is moved in a direction away from the base board and an angle between the support panel 26 and base 2 increases in order to tilt the tablet towards a user. The canopy 5 can be a flexible sheet with a rectangular top panel 4 and triangular side panels 6. A flap 28 may include securing means 30 for when the canopy 5 is closed. The support panel 26 may have a non-slip surface. The enclosure provides a shield against sun glare or rain. |
