The invention relates to a fluid dispenser (1) characterised in that it comprises a cylindrical fluid storage tube (2) with a narrowed intermediate section that defines an open-ended upper part (4) and a lower part (6) containing an element of absorbent material (5), wherein said element of absorbent material (5) is disposed in the end of the lower part (6) to form the base of the device (1). According to a preferred embodiment, the base of the element of absorbent material (5) is continuous.
