<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To use an electronic money function of a non-contact type IC by using a portable terminal not incorporating a non-contact type IC. <P>SOLUTION: A compact terminal 2 has a non-contact type IC and a short-range wireless function. The non-contact type IC, which is the same as the one used for an electronic money card, stores balance of electronic money and increases/reduces the balance by an instruction from outside. The short-range wireless function is the one for performing wireless communication with a portable phone 3. The portable phone 3 is registered in an electronic money server 4 together with credit card information. When charging is performed in the compact terminal 2, the portable phone 3 is connected to the electronic money server 4 to perform settlement of payment to be charged by using the credit information. Then, the portable phone 3 transmits an instruction for increasing amount to the compact terminal 2 and allows the portable terminal 2 to perform charging of electronic money with the settled amount. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
