<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical information processing system which is adaptable to an emergency patient using a clinical application. <P>SOLUTION: The medical information processing system includes a server device which provides a clinical application, and a plurality of client devices. The server device includes an application part, a selection part, and a proxy request part. The application part imparts permission to use the clinical application to a first client device which requests use of the clinical application when the number of client devices connected simultaneously to the server device does not reach a limit number of simultaneous use. The selection part selects one or more client devices capable of using the clinical application as second client devices among the plurality of client devices when the number of the client devices connected simultaneously to the server device reaches the limit number of simultaneous use.
