<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To propose a welding method excellent in welding strength and an appearance quality after welding even to a base material of a thin steel plate, also shortening welding manhours, and capable of further reducing electric power consumption, in a welding construction method for resistance-welding a welding stud to the steel plate.SOLUTION: For a shape and a purpose of the welding stud, electric power supply is executed by a different place, one is supplied with electric power from a flange part, the other one is supplied by a movable upper electrode from an upper end surface of the stud, respectively, and a lower end surface of the stud of an abutting surface welded to the steel plate is formed of a plane. A welding current is controlled so as to become a maximum value within 15 msec (millisecond) and to also complete welding in a current-carrying time of 50 msec or less from a current-carrying start, and the welding method is executed in a welding device having a welding transformer followable to this control method.</p> |
