The method of monitoring running of trains within interstation section according to the present invention is intended for increase in safety on railway in systems with a controlled transmission of a train line automatic stop code in the track circuit, in which a presence of a train is anticipated, where one of the train run clearance conditions is absence of another train in the interstation section or a portion thereof, a space interval and in case of division of the space interval into track sections, freedom of all the track sections, and where one of the transmission of the train line automatic stop code conditions is evidence of the train within the given track section. When carrying out the above-described method, the stationary part of the train line automatic stop only transmits a code in the track section with the presence of a train, designated as a train face, wherein the train running feeds the record of the train face and at the same time, the feed of the train face record is conditioned by continuance of that train face in the previous track section for a predetermined time period.
