<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of storing an electronic component capable of easily and reliably storing the electronic component in a storage hole of an electronic component storage tape while improving productivity. <P>SOLUTION: The method of storing an electronic component E in a storage hole 44 of an electronic component storage tape 42 storing the electronic components E at predetermined intervals includes: a passage opening expansion step of expanding an opening area of a passage opening H when the electronic component passes through the passage opening H formed between the electronic component storage tape 42 and a storage guide 28; and a passage opening reduction step of reducing the opening area of the passage opening H after the electronic component E completely passes through the passage opening H. In the passage opening expansion process, the storage guide 28 moves upward in the vertical direction to expand the opening area of the passage opening H by means of timer setting in which it is estimated that the electronic component passes through the passage opening. In the passage opening reduction process, the storage guide 28 moves downward in the vertical direction to reduce the opening area of the passage opening H by means of timer setting in which it is estimated that the electronic component reaches the storage hole 44. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
