<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an instrumentation system with low initial cost and high extensibility and versatility.SOLUTION: An instrumentation system 100 performing monitoring control for a plant comprises: computers 102a and 102b which are connected to a communication network 109 and execute a monitoring control program for a plant; translators 103a to 103c which are connected to a monitoring element 106 and control elements 107 and 108 of an apparatus in the plant and relay a monitoring signal and a control signal from/to a relay network 105; and a server 101 which exchanges monitoring information and control information with the computers through the communication network and exchanges the monitoring signal and the control signal with the translators through the relay network, and executes a monitoring program for generating the monitoring information from the monitoring signal and a control program for generating the control signal on the basis of the control information.</p> |
