<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waterproof chassis and an electronic device capable of securing waterproofness without increasing the scale of constitution. <P>SOLUTION: The waterproof chassis includes: a case and a cover; a curable seal material which is disposed in contact with the peripheral part of the case and the peripheral part of the cover respectively over the whole periphery; and a screw which fastens the case and the cover. The peripheral part of the case and the peripheral part of the cover have a plurality of sets of hole parts for screw fastening formed on positions opposite to each other of outer side than a seal area where the seal material is arranged, whereby an inner space configured in such a state that the case and the cover are fastened by the screws is defined as waterproof space. Therein, on at least one of the peripheral part of the case and the peripheral part of the cover, a storage groove for storing the seal material swelling from the seal area is formed between at least one of the hole parts and the seal area. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
