PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light diffusion device, a backlight unit, and a display device in which incident light from a plurality of light sources is effectively diffused and thereby luminance unevenness due to the light sources can be eliminated.SOLUTION: A display device is mounted with a backlight unit in which there are arranged: light sources; a light diffusion device composed of a light diffusion layer diffusing incident light from an incident face side, a light propagating layer for expanding and propagating the diffused light and an optical deflection element for deflecting and emitting the light; and a plurality of optical films. |
