<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting system that can simultaneously emit light in a plurality of directions desired. <P>SOLUTION: The system includes: a first mounting pedestal 2 having a rectangular pedestal plate with a center part horizontally supported with a stand 1; a second mounting pedestal 3 having a rectangular pedestal plate shorter than that of the pedestal plate, arranged on the pedestal plate, with a center part made rotatable in a horizontal direction and fixable at any position; and a first, a second, third and fourth lighting units 4A, 4B, 4C, 4D using LEDs as light sources 42. The first and second lighting units is set in free movement in a length direction on the pedestal plate of the first mounting pedestal, in free fixing at any position, in free rotation in a direction horizontal to the first mounting pedestal, and in free fixing at any position.
