The present invention is a method to calculate an amount of fuel injection in a direct gasoline injection engine, and comprises: a step of calculating a compensation factor for the fuel density which changes in accordance to a fuel pressure within a fuel rail; and a step of calculating a fuel injection interval by applying a density compensation factor due to fuel pressure. The present invention applies fuel density changes due to high pressure to calculate the fuel injection interval, thus enabling an accurate calculation of the actual amount of fuel injection. |
