<p>A method for producing bitumen or heavy oil from a subterranean reservoir comprising a carbonate mineral solid matrix comprising injection or co-injection of a gas other than carbon dioxide, injection or co-injection of a carbon containing gas containing a relatively low amount of carbon dioxide, injection of steam providing bicarbonate/alkalinity, or increasing the subterranean reservoir pressure, such that the dissolution and reprecipitation of carbonates is suppressed thereby.</p> |
