<p>A rotary-wing aircraft which is especially suitable for still and video photography from the air. The rotary-wing aircraft comprises at least four rotors, which are disposed on girder elements, wherein the rotors and girder elements are disposed such that a free field of vision is defined along a longitudinal axis of the rotary-wing aircraft at least between two terminal rotors. The girder elements provide a straight-line connection between the rotors on each side of the longitudinal axis. in order to increase the free field of vision, the girder elements are disposed in a V shape symmetrically with respect to the longitudinal axis of the aircraft. This arrangement allows a single optical and/or sensor element to be pivoted from an area above the plane of the rotors, through the plane of the rotors, to an area below the plane of the rotors, and in the reverse direction.</p> |
