1. A portable playpen which can be erected, collapsed and carried while holding a baby, comprising:
a framework supporting an enclosure for a child, the framework having a generally pyramidal structure when erected, and wherein the structure is adapted to be collapsed by a single hand of a user; a plurality of legs comprising the framework and connected together at or near the apex of the generally pyramidal structure; a plurality of struts being associated with one of each of the plurality of legs and being rotatably connected thereto; a joint joining the plurality of struts and together making up the base of the generally pyramidal framework of the playpen; whereby the joint can be lifted toward the apex, so as to bring the legs and struts closer to parallel with each other and thereby bringing the playpen into its collapsed position. |
