The present invention relates to an e-book control system and an e-book control method using a group unit master-slave method. The e-book control system using a master-slave method comprises: a content server for providing the e-book of a content and an e-book reader for playing an e-book, generating a group having an e-book designated and managing control related to the e-book in the generated group; a master terminal for requesting the generation of a group having the e-book designated as the e-book reader has been downloaded and installed, approving a request of slave terminals for entry with user authority for the generated group, and conducting the control of the e-book, including opening a book, taking a memo, underlining and writing additional information by controlling the e-book readers of the slave terminals via an agent program or a control module in a synchronization mode; and one or more slave terminals for requesting entry into the group having an e-book designated via the downloaded and installed e-book reader, and playing the e-book via the e-book reader after the entry into the group wherein playing the e-book includes opening a book, taking a memo and underlining with respect to the e-book according to the control of the master terminal. |
