A liquid discharge head, comprising a substrate having an inorganic material layer, an organic material layer, and an intermediate layer contacting the inorganic material layer and the organic material layer between the inorganic material layer and the organic material layer, wherein the intermediate layer contains a resin having three or more cyclohexene oxide skeletons in molecules, a photocationic polymerization initiator, a thermal cationic polymerization initiator, and an onium salt containing a cation portion structure represented by (d1) shown below and an anion portion structure represented by (d2) shown below: wherein, in the cation portion structure represented by (d1), R1 to R3 independently represent an organic group having 1 to 15 carbon atoms which may have a substituent, in the anion portion structure represented by (d2), Z represents a carbon atom or a sulfur atom, and when Z is a carbon atom, k=1 is established and when Z is a sulfur atom, k=2 is established, Y represents any one of —S(═O)2—, an alkylene fluoride group having 1 to 15 carbon atoms, —O—CF2—, —C(═O)—CF2—, —O—C(═O)—CF2—, —C(═O)—O—CF2—, and a single bond, and R4 represents a hydrocarbon group having 1 to 20 carbon atoms which may contain a hetero atom. |
