1. A method, implemented by a user device, comprising:
presenting, by the user device, passages of an electronic book on the user device, wherein a first passage of the passages is associated with a sequence of location identifiers, each location identifier identifying a location of a word in the first passage; tracking, by the user device, access behavior of a user for the passages of the electronic book by the user device, wherein tracking the access behavior of the user for the first passage comprises:
tracking an amount of time that the first passage is presented; andtracking a number of times that the first passage is presented; filtering out, by the user device, one or more of the passages based on a filtering criterion to result in one or more remaining passages; identifying, by the user device, favorite passages of the electronic book from the one or more remaining passages based on the access behavior; and generating, by the user device without user input, based on the identified favorite passages, markers that are usable to navigate to the favorite passages, wherein a first marker of the markers comprises at least one location identifier of the sequence of location identifiers for a location of a particular word in a favorite passage. |
