According to one aspect, the present invention is to provide a safety device for a blind cord, which is selectively separated for a blind cord to be recombined to prevent a suffocation accident by a blind cord of an infant when a predetermined load corresponding to weight of an infant is continuously applied. The safety device for a blind cord comprises: a first connector fixated on a first end portion wherein a blind cord is cut; and a second connector fixated on a second end portion wherein a blind cord is cut, a protrusion coupling with the first connector is maintained under a load which is less than a predetermined weight, and in case a load over a predetermined weight is applied, the protrusion coupling is selectively released to be separate from the first connector as being elastically bent by the load. |
