RADIATION GENERATOR AND RADIOGRAPHY SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation generator which improves the extraction efficiency of a radiation ray while maintaining the ability of cooling a target included in a radiation generating tube.SOLUTION: A radiation generator includes: a package 10 having a first window 11 which transmits a radiation ray 2; a radiation tube 20 stored in the package 10 and including a target 26 which generates the radiation ray 2 from a position facing the first window 11 and a second window 27 which transmits the radiation ray 2 and contacts with the target 26; and an insulative liquid 40 which fills a space between an inner wall of the package 10 and the radiation tube 20. The second window 27 is electrically connected with the target 26. A part of the insulative liquid 40 contacts with the second window 27. A container 12 filled with an insulative gas 13 is disposed between the first window 11 and the second window 27 with its peripheral part.
