PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery characteristics learning apparatus capable of accurately calculating a learning value of a circuit constant in an equivalent circuit of a storage battery.SOLUTION: A control section 50 composing an equivalent circuit of a storage battery 10 and calculating learning values of a plurality of circuit constants each having different time constants comprises: acquisition means for acquiring a voltage value of an inter-terminal voltage of the storage battery 10 detected by a voltage sensor 40 and a current value of current flowing through the storage battery 10 detected by a current sensor 30, respectively, and for storing the acquired values in time-series; determination means for determining that a certain change occurred in the current flowing through the storage battery 10 based on the current value acquired by the acquisition means; and learning means for, when it is determined that a certain change occurred, calculating the learning values of the plurality of circuit constants by defining as a sampling time period a time period from a start time of a change in the current flowing through the storage battery 10 to a time point when a time corresponding to a time constant of each circuit constant passed or to a time point close thereto, based on a voltage value and a current value acquired in the sampling time period. |
