PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To acquire a signal transmission device which suppresses increase in trouble of an operator in installation work, which achieves cost reduction and which can set management floor data, and a management floor data setting method.SOLUTION: A landing hall power source unit 30 for converting AC power source supplied from a control board 10 into DC power source, and a plurality of branch station control units 21 provided at each landing hall indicator control board 20 of each floor and connected to a master station control unit 11 provided at the control board 10 so as to perform data communication are connected by a power supply line 50b having different length according to distance from the landing hall power source unit 30 to the landing hall indicator control board 20 of each floor. The master station control unit 11, based on voltage value data which is received from each branch station control unit 21 and which varies from floor to floor, generates allocation completed information in which voltage value data is associated with management floor data, and transmits it to each branch station control unit 21. Each branch station control unit 21 sets the management floor data corresponding to the voltage value data of itself out of the allocation completed information. |
