<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display device and a control method of the same that enable the appropriate correction of image quality according to the drive state of a fan.SOLUTION: An environmental temperature sensor 12 detects an environmental temperature on the periphery of an image display device. A fan 5 exhausts air from the inside of a housing 7 to the outside, or takes air from the outside of the housing 7 into the inside, to cool the image display device. An image quality correction unit 24 performs the correction of the image quality of a display panel 2 on the basis of a temperature detected by the environmental temperature sensor 12 and the drive state of the fan.</p> |
