<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress generation of odor at an initial stage of an operation in a humidifier.SOLUTION: Sterilization means 12 is provided in an air blowing passage leading from a humidification body 8 within a body case 1 to an exhaust port 3. The sterilization means 12 is connected to a control section 13. The control section 13 performs an odor reduction mode at an initial stage of an operation of energizing the sterilization means 12 and reversely rotating an air blowing fan 10. Thus, at the initial stage of the operation, with air blowing caused by the reverse rotation of the air blowing fan 10, a sterilization substance obtained by the sterilization means 12 is supplied to the humidification body 8 so as to perform sterilization in the humidification body 8 as a result.</p> |
